World Welcomes Chinese New Year

Also known as the Lunar New Year or the Spring Festival, one of the traditional Chinese holidays, is celebrated on the first day of the first month of the Chinese calendar, which falls on the day on which the second new moon after the day on which the winter solstice occurs .

I haven't had the chance to get an actual pic of the celebration in the downtown area last night, since i just recovered from my sickness. There were the traditional food festival like the previous years hosted by our local Filipino/Chinese restaurants wherein most customers dining are chinese, hehe.

And of course, let's all be proud .... coz the SYSHS Dragon Performers were featured in GMA Morning Show "Unang Hirit" as part of their Chinese New Year Episode. I saw it myself on TV while the group were performing in Lapaz Plaza. It's a good feeling to be part of it. Kung Hei Fat Choi!

This is the 2nd time Stephen's Birthday has been posted here in the blog. I think he's the youngest among the boys in our section ... Hhmm ... If i'm not mistaken. I didn't post his pic coz it was already been posted last year. Instead, i just inserted the pic of his lookalike, hehehe. Macho Macho Man ... Well ... Steph .... Chibogan Na !!!! Dominador's Relatives Last New Year's Eve '05

New PAPA Vinson !!!

I just wanna say congrats to "Papa" Vinson Gopun for having a new bouncing Baby Girl. Carol gave birth to their 2nd child on i think 3rd week of December 2005 if i'm not mistaken ... i wasn't informed until the following week. Another baby means another blessing for both of them ... Congratulations !!! To Vinson: Pics please .... hehehe.

The Section B of Class '93

Here is Winston and Normalita's been waiting for. I still can't forget losing the Basketball Championship Game on our senior year against them, right Doms??? hehehe. It's just unfortunate that Dexter was in foul trouble and Doming was injured during the crucial minutes of the game ... hehehe (reasons .. reasons .. reason ... hehehe ... still can't accept defeat ) Hhhmm ... will there still be a chance for a re-match ??? :) Click the pic to view the large image.
